This is by far my favorite holiday of the year, just because I get to watch the Blue Angels (and the Thunderbirds) do amazing stunts in mid-air.

St. Edward came out triumphant over Strongsville Saturday evening at a sold out Lakewood Stadium by a final score of 37-36.
It was a game of inches, as Strongsville kicker Nate Feese attempted a 51-yard field goal with three seconds……Read the entire article on the Lakewood Observer website

Here are a few interviews that I have had the pleasure to do over the past year.
The first interview was conducted by James Robinson, a photographer who contacted me through a photography forum called Fredmiranda.com. James asked me to be part of his photography blog and wanted to interview me. Check out James’ blog by clicking on the link below, and read some of his other interviews as well because they are very interesting.

The following interview was done by the college that I attend and was featured on the homepage for quite some time. I had a great time doing the interview, and often ran behind the camera to see the lighting for myself. The last bit of info is an article written by Dale Meggas, who is the sports editor at the Lakewood Sun Post. Mr. Meggas covers Lakewood Sports and off-beat Cleveland Indians stories. The article talks about how, with the help of many generous people, businesses and organizations, my friend Eric and I dedicated a scoreboard in the memory of our late baseball coach. A lot of work was put in to make it happen, and I was able to use my photography to do my part in keeping Coach Gruss’ memory and lessons alive.

I went out to a nearby beach (Huntington Beach) to take some photos of the sunset after the tornado warnings cleared up and the sun came back out.
I’ve been burried in editing wedding photos, so this was a nice break from photoshop!

This week will be a busy week for me.
Today, I will be at Cleveland State University covering Lakewood High School Baseball and Softball as they are having practice at the Soccer Field (which is a covered dome during the winter).
Tuesday, the NBC Democratic Presidential Debate is being held at Cleveland State University (airtime 9 p.m. eastern) which I will be covering for the Lakewood Observer.
Also on Tuesday, I would like to point out that Lakewood is playing St.Edward in the Division 1 district Finals at Brecksville HS. Sadly, I won’t be able to make it because of the Debate but I wish both teams the best of luck. It will be a great game to see!
The rest of the week is pretty free for me, which allows me to focus solely on school work. Usually things pop up throughout the week.
check the latest galleries at www.ivorkphoto.com for available prints. I haven’t had much time to do some fine art photography but I will once the weather gets a bit warmer!
